Branden Marquise Albert didn’t take his suspension from work very well. He took it so bad he could pay for a consequence so much worse than just a suspension.
The 27 year old L’Auberge Casino worker has tested positive in drugs and he was suspended by his supervisor pending an investigation into his case.
That’s when the nightmare started.
Albert was angry, his supervisor told deputies. He sent threatening messages to his supervisor telling him he “never missed a shot from long range” and that he was “setting up his assault rifles and hand grenades” on the levee which was near the casino.
But he did more than just threaten his boss. When his supervisor was driving away from the casino, a white Ford F-150 quickly drove up behind him and tried to run him off the road. This has been confirmed by security video footage.
His grudge didn’t stop with his supervisor, though—it was spread out towards other members of the casino staff.
A second casino employee was reported to have received death threats from Albert, too, who threatened to shoot him with his AK-47 assault rifle.
Other employees of the casino were threatened to be killed with skills Albert claimed to have learned in the military.
Reports state that Albert said he’s "getting more fire power" and that he’ll be back to “try and gun y’all down.”
Albert also said “those security guards better have assault rifles” and claimed to have put pipe bombs in the casino and warned they should “walk light.”
The mother of one of Albert’s co-workers also received a message from him saying he knew where she lived and that he would “shred her car to pieces.”

All these text messages were sent in a span of around two hours.
